
Baarbara and Lana have started to create their very own creative studio. This is their special space for doing what they love. Knitting, needlepoint or anything to do with fiber. Watch for their column in the newletter for great tips for stowing your stitching treasures. Buttons, ribbons, spools, floss and needles.
The shop offers a haven for stitchers with great projects, fibers, books,, accessories, camps and gatherings.

- French Knots are easy and a great way to accent your stitching. They can be worked in clusters or alone. One color or a bunch. One texture or more. They can be an eye on a critter or a center of a flower. They can add color and texture to any piece.
- Bring your needle up to the right side of the fabric.
- Twist the thread once around the needle. Some say to wrap the thread around more than once. Others say wrapping it multiple times result in a knot being too bulky.
- Hold onto the needle and thread firmly but not too tightly.
- Insert the needle back into the fabric in the same spot, or right next to the same spot.
- Pull the thread through the fabric.

Interested in forming a stitchin group? The Stitchin' Den would like to help. We have several opportunities to meet in the shop. Wednesday at noon, thursday afternoons or Sundays during the summer.
Join groups already in session at Notchtop every Thursday at 2PM or the 1st and 3rd Monday night when the Knitting Margaretas at Casa Grande
Novice stitchers, experts or stitcher wanna bes are all welcomed. Lots of help and support will be available at each group. |
